Lindsay Lesofsky – Director of Administration / Treasurer

Lindsay has been a co-director of Westmoreland Elite since 2015 and has been with the club since 2012. She is a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School where she was a 4-year letterman in volleyball, basketball and softball. During high school, she received multiple all-section honors for each sport and her teams won multiple section championships. After high school, Lindsay attended California University of Pennsylvania and played softball at the DII level. During college, Lindsay coached volleyball and softball at the high school level.
Lindsay began her volleyball coaching career at Ringgold High School in 2004 where she was the assistant coach. After 1 year of being an assistant coach, she became the head coach at Ringgold in 2005. That year, the team made it to playoffs for the first time in 8 years. In 2006, Lindsay left Ringgold to coach at her alma mater, Elizabeth Forward. She coached at Elizabeth Forward for 10 years and her teams won multiple section championships and made it to playoffs each year in her time there. Lindsay returned to Elizabeth Forward, after taking 5 years off, in 2020 and just resigned after the 2023 season. Lindsay also coached softball at Elizabeth Forward for 5 years and 2 of those teams were WPIAL Runner-ups. Aside from Westmoreland Elite, Lindsay has coached at Penn Highlands and Pitt Elite Volleyball Club.
Lindsay works at Westinghouse Electric Company and now coaches her daughter’s rec & GAMA Storm travel softball teams! She lives in North Huntingdon with her husband, Howie, and their three children, Reese, Nathan & Camryn. Howie also coaches high school football at Elizabeth Foward High School, so their Fall’s are pretty busy!
Greg Lockley – Director of Coaches/Players & 17 Purple Coach

Coach Lockley, a graduate/player of Peabody High; University of Pittsburgh, started his coaching career immediately after his college career. Coaching with his Alma Mater; He joined the coaching staff at Chatham University in 1994 as an Assistant Coach and became Head Coach in 1998. Once becoming the Cougars Head Coach, he led the volleyball team to three NCAA, AWCC Championships and the athletics 1st ever appearance in the NCAA Division III National Tournament. He was also named Coach of the Year in 1998. He was the first coach at Chatham University athletics to accumulate 100+ wins.
Before coaching at Chatham, Coach Lockley has been a high school and Junior Olympic coach for girls and boys at several area high schools and clubs. Coach Lockley has over 35 years of volleyball experience.

Gene Larson – 14 Purple Head Coach

Coach Gene moved to the Pittsburgh area to play volleyball at The University of Pittsburgh and never left. He has been playing and coaching volleyball for 40+ years and has been with Westmoreland Elite since the club began. Gene is currently the head coach at Trinity Christian School. Additionally, he coached a local group of home schooled players for 23 years. He is available for private lessons.
His coaching career includes coaching both boys and girls in California and Pennsylvania at the junior high, high school, and club levels. He has coached numerous All-District, All-State and All-American players, including one player who advanced to the professional ranks. Gene also played on and coached teams that won Gold medals at the Keystone State Games.
Gene and his wife Linda currently reside in Penn Hills where they raised their 6 children.
Robin Klimke – 15 Purple Head Coach

Coach Robin started playing volleyball at Kiski Area High School where she was a 3-sport athlete and was inducted into the Kiski Area Sports Hall of Fame. At Kiski, Robin participated in the volleyball state championships her Junior and Senior year. She also played for the Pittsburgh Pacers, the first Junior Olympic volleyball program in Pittsburgh, during high school. Her volleyball career continued at the University of Pittsburgh. After college, Robin continued play at various levels including USVBA/USA, CoEd, Keystone State Games and the National Sports Festival representing the East.
Robin started her coaching career at Carlow College as an assistant coach and has coached for the past 33 years at various levels – elementary school, middle school, high school, private school, club volleyball and St. Vincent college. Her coaching experience involved participating in 2 High School State Championships and a NAIA National Collegiate tournament. Robin’s club coaching experience includes Foothills and Keystone club programs where she has coached for over 20 years. Robin and her husband, David, co-coach and they have successfully coached their Keystone teams to achieve Regional championships and runner-ups during several seasons.
Robin is recently retired from Adelphi Village and lives in Latrobe with her husband, David.
David Klimke – 15 Purple Assistant Coach

Coach David is a graduate of Montour High School where he got his start playing volleyball. He continued playing on various men’s USVBA/USA and Co-Ed volleyball teams for over 20 years during high school, college and as an adult.
David started coaching at Westmoreland Elite in 2018, but his coaching career started as part of the inaugural coaching staff with the Pittsburgh Golden Triangles VBC, now Pittsburgh Elite. His coaching career continued over the last 25 years. His experience varied from elementary students in the Catholic diocese of Greensburg, Junior High School program-Latrobe, 2 Club programs, which included several Keystone Regional championships and runner-ups, and at Carnegie Mellon University.
David lives in Latrobe with his wife, Robin, who he met playing volleyball and presently they co-coach. David is employed at Carpenter Technology, Latrobe Operations. In his spare time David enjoys supporting /attending Pittsburgh Sports events and playing golf.
