This is Payton's first year coaching for West E and she is very excited to get started!
While in high school, Payton played volleyball at Penn-Trafford High School as an outside hitter for 2 years and as a libero for 2 years. As a senior libero, she was awarded 2nd Team All Section. She was the student coach for the boys' team where they went on to win the WPIAL Championship in 2016. Payton also played club volleyball for West E for 4 years as an outside hitter.
After she graduated, Payton went to college at Slippery Rock University where she majored in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. In her free time at college, she played intramural volleyball.
Payton currently teaches at McCullough Elementary in the Penn-Trafford School District.
